What are you wearing right now, as you type this?
It’s a bit chilly here so I have a maxi knit dress, with my Chinese kimono over it and my long cashmere robe on top of that.
What is the last item of clothing you bought?
The last item of clothing I bought is my knit fringe skirt – I was influenced by the long-awaited Great Gatsby movie!
What is the item of clothing you most covet at the moment?
Actually, I’m coveting an accessory. I am very creatively motivated to work some turbans into my daily attire (especially for home). Having been unable to find any to my liking, I know I have to get some fabric on the cutting table.
Tell us about a favorite childhood memory about your clothes.
I loved the beginning of each school year! Shopping for a whole new wardrobe, the excitement of new beginnings, fresh starts, personal reinvention. I still see all that in a new wardrobe choices today.
What’s your best thrifting score?
My best thrifting scores are undoubtably the fur collars and stoles I have recently purchased. I would have to say my all time favorite thrift score was made by my daughter, on my behalf. It was in Italy and she found the most amazing convertible fox collar that became a staple in my fall wardrobe when I was in Europe.
