Here's what I do. Usually on weheartit or visualize, there's a link listed as 'original source.' I copy that link and embed that link in the photo. So then if someone clicks on the photo, hopefully they'll be taken to the place on the internet where it was originally posted. Hope that helps!

I am so all over We Heart It and Visualise - I like pretty pictures for my blog too, but really battle to find good ones - and I didn't know about these cool places.

GIMP and Paint.net are both free photo editing programs that are comparable to Photoshop (really, they're just as good :) ). GIMP also has a portable version that you can use on a flash drive, just look for it on Portableapps.com. T

They also have a free, portable vector program called Inkscape, which I used to help make the banner for my blog.

Great list! Aviary.com is awesome if you want like the whole Photoshop/Illustrator/etc experience but can't afford it. Aviary is a web-based, completely free program that lets you do all that. I think it's pretty great, even though I'm still learning how to do things.
