Web Time Wasters

How was your week, guys?  I Clever Sessioned with the lovely Rebecca Lewis, spent two wonderful nights on the North Shore with my dude, and tried to win a party by bringing tiny chocolate pies.

Enough about me!  Bring on the links!

In January, I’m going to Mexico for three weeks and over the course of those three weeks, five different friends will be joining me and splitting costs with me. And lo, I will thank all the is right and good for Split It Quick.

An idea whose time has come!  Rather replaces content you don’t want to see with content you like – cover up tv show spoilers, your ex’s photos, political rants. AMAZING.

I love this house tour and all the travel souvenirs!

Is is possible to promote your business in a classy way?  I think so!

Constellation tea towels.

My sister was adopted from Korea so stories like this always break my heart. How can we help? What can we change?

I love this because linguistics.

You probably know it better, however, as explanation by way of Internet—explanation that maximizes efficiency and irony in equal measure. I’m late because YouTube. I borrowed a car from my friend’s roommate. I wore a black turtleneck and very nice jeans—I wanted to impress the nurses. I think I even mentioned that I was in the honor society! Now I think, Who did I think I was? I had no idea that the average abortion patient is all of us.Some thoughts on feminism and leadership (via the tv show Scandal)

I’d happily drink just about anything out of these.

At $34, there must be a catch, right?

Cuuuute!  Celebrities’ first interviews.

My obsession with Russia continues: photos of a beautifully abandoned railway station.

I know my grandma would be all “You paid good money for those?!” but I think these are so cute.

Ugh.  YES. Let’s all agree to stop vaguebooking.

If you are doing it, do us all a favor – get self-aware, grow some balls, call the person you’re angry with, have it out, come to a resolution, decide to hate them for as long as you both shall live – whatever it is you do for closure so you can sleep better at night, do it… but by all means, settle it and knock it off!And some Yes and Yes posts you might have missed: True Story: I have a severe phobia, 3 ways to make cheap-o travel feel luxurious, You’re smart – so what?
