Are you a blogger who works with brands? I want to talk to you and then give you free ad space.

Friends.  As you probably know, I do not pay my bills with blogging alone.  A significant portion of my income comes from helping small businesses + entrepreneurs + brands with internet-ery.  And part of that is helping them work with bloggers.  And, well, not everybody's good at that.

There are plenty of companies who offend bloggers, ask them to do ridiculous things, or want them to do things for free.  That behavior doesn't benefit the brands and it doesn't benefit the bloggers. So!  I'm doing some research and I need your help.  If you're a blogger who's worked with 10+ brands I'd love to interview you (anonymously, of course) about the process.  In exchange for your time and insight, I'd be happy to give you a free 220x100 ad on my sidebar for a month.

Drop me a line at sarah (at) yesandyes (dot) org if you'd like to chat!

  2. Funny this has been on my mind lately. I've been contacted by several brands (turned almost all down) because they felt like they were doing me a favor by giving them a free writeup on my page. They were mostly rude and the posts they wanted written seemed forced. It was something I didn't want to force on my reader.
