Friends!  It's time for our monthly exercise in karma generating and nice-doing. 

Here's the deal-io:

I'd love to hear how you overcame perfectionism and/or loneliness

I was bullied from an early age and had a difficult teenage (depression etc.), during which I pretty much isolated myself from others. I’m now 21, and although I have dealt with the more serious issues, I still have two things that I struggle with, perfectionism and making friends. I’m actively trying to start living my life to the fullest, and hence it would be extremely inspiring to hear from people who have struggled with perfectionism and/or socializing, and have managed to turn their life around. It would mean the world to me to know that it is possible!

I need advice about becoming a tutor
I want to become a tutor. I really want to pursue tutoring, but have no formal teaching experience. I have a history of great grades and standardized test scores and have tutored my friends in many subjects. How do I turn this into a profession? What kinds of credentials are necessary; can I take legitimate classes in tutoring online? How do I market myself and meet potential students? How much do I charge? Any advice would be really helpful.

I am looking for some information regarding teaching English as a second language etc. programs, in which the teaching experience & becoming certified as a TEFL (or TESL, TEFL, TSF, CELTA, etc) is in a combined program (preferred, but any info is helpful!). I would like to know about Industrial/Organizational Psychology graduate programs and jobs
I'm a senior at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. I will be graduating in the spring of 2013 with a B.S. in psychology.  Is it possible to succeed in this field without getting my Ph.D?
