Friends! Have you been enjoying our Mini Travel Guides? I certainly have. I've got lots of good one queued up (Morocco! Norway! Malta!) but I'd love to start chipping away at some of the world's lesser traveled destinations.
So, if you
a) are from one of these countries
b) spent at least six months in one of these countries
And you'd be willing to write up 600 words on the topic, I'd love to hear from you. How about mini travel guides for

It might be interesting to read travel guides on cities within countries as well! Russia is so huge, it would be like doing a mini travel guide on America!
Please post Norway in July - I'm going the end of the month and would love to read it first!!!!
Mexico – Guests staying three or more nights at the luxurious Hacienda Xcanatun (www.xcanatun.com) will receive Two Free Platinum tickets to Shakira’s Mayan Sun Concert (El Concierto del Sol Maya) taking place in Merida on July 16, 2011. Each of the Platinum reserved seat tickets is valued at $350.
Before and after the concert, guests settle into the luxe lifestyle of Hacienda Xcanatun, an 18th century elegant, boutique hotel where colonial charm blends seamlessly with fine service and excellent dining.
The concert will be held in La Plancha, Merida’s former railroad station, which is being renovated for the event, where Shakira is slated to perform old and new favorites including signature songs such as Hips Don’t Lie and Waka Waka. It is the Colombian singing/songwriting star’s first visit to Merida, capital of the Yucatan.
Set on the outskirts of Merida, Hacienda Xcanatun’s 18 spacious suites and superior rooms are nestled in a nine-acre garden sheltering two freshwater swimming pools. Each of the accommodations is filled with antiques, hand-carved furnishings and has a private terrace. The Hacienda’s gourmet restaurant, Casa de Piedra, is ranked as one of Mexico’s top 50 restaurants, while healing Maya and beauty treatments are specialties at the intimate spa. For comfortably exploring the Yucatan’s rich heritage, private excursions with highly skilled guides are easily arranged to world-famous archaeological sites including Uxmal and Chichen Itza; ecological preserves; and miles of deserted beaches.
I can't help you with lesser-traveled countries. However, if you ever decide to do mini travel guides for different states, I could certainly sign up for Alabama. We're more interesting than you think!
Sarah you've truly forgotten the gem that is Rochester, New York in your mini-travel guides. If you ever need a writer for that one, let me know ;)
I KEED, I KEED. Can't wait to see all the awesome things in the queue this summer!
