Next month, I'm leaving my spiritual homeland (because it's getting too cold) and popping over to Australia to visit my blogging BFF Lady Smaggle. We are both button-nosed Virgo bloggers who used to teach and love Dance Central. If we had a child, it would probably be Kurt from Glee.
Anyhoo! Since we're going to be in the same country for the first time ever, we thought we'd make a podcast together about our various list-making/organization/productivity tricks, blogging and, um, embracing your button nose.

Do you guys have any questions you want to ask us, the team captains of Type A? They can be bloggy/organization based or personal. Ask away!

I'm so excited that you're coming to Melbourne! Gaaah! I'm really looking forward to this project, as a fellow type-A lass.
I think you were probably kidding about the button nose thing, but seriously. Include it. I need it.
I'm a virgo who stresses until a list is made. Then I'm a fairly calm person so I've very excited about this project! But my question is how do you keep yourself from doing to much and over scheduling?! I work two jobs and have for the past 5 years. Did I mention i went to college and joined a sorority too? I love everything I do and want to do more but I can only last so long!
Can you talk about what your typical schedule is like? I know that it varies quite a bit according to where you are and what you're doing, but I am interested to know: what time you wake up, your morning routine (do you shower in AM or PM? do you routinely do hair/makeup/cute outfit?), your basic eating schedule, your writing schedule and routine, and your exercise routine. Just a basic idea of your schedule I guess.
Thanks!
UM,
Totally not kidding, will totally address it ;)
How can a non-organized person get organized? I've never understood the "group like with like" concept - there's too many variables that confound me. Please, how? Even if I did things by color (which would be beautiful but terribly impractical) I'd be completely stuck on "where's the line between green and blue?"
Morning routine tips would be super appreciated! Also, tips on balancing different life aspects (for instance: work/school/blogging/exercise) would be useful.
Oh, and moving without panic, disaster, and procrastination!
Mine would be: how do you turn off your brain? I don't mean breathing exercises or just laying down and "relaxing", but just spending the greater proportion of your time NOT worrying and being anxious. Make sense? I seem to always be stressed about something. : /
where are you going to be?
Love this idea! I'm a Capricorn with total Virgo tendencies (my closet is color organized.)
Where do you keep those things that don't have a place in your apartment/house? The knick-knacks, the momentous, the things you don't need but just can't throw away?
It might be too personal but I would also like a look at your daily routine to see how you practically fit it all in. I'm at the end of a semester right now but within it I organised a charity event, took part in a charity hitchhike, performed in a dance show, attended chairty cinema nights twice a week and received good grades. But I'm still interested. And how do you stay motivated? x
How does a person who's on the ultra-organized and neat side of the spectrum live with someone who is (it sounds harsh, but there's not really any other way to say it) on the sloppy and disorganized side of the spectrum?
Let me know how did you get the confidence that compelled you to leave a decent job to start a business ?
