Isn't all of this stuff adorable?! If it wasn't deeply wrong, I'd be tempted to announce that one "Sara Bon Vargen" won the whole lot. But that's not very nice, now is it? Please do take a few minutes to stop by the online haunts that belong to these lovely and talented people and say hello.
To enter? Leave a comment (with your email address) telling us what your plans are for your next birthday! (I think mine will involve a cabin on a lake with my girlfriends. «Oldest ‹Older 1 – 200 of 289 Newer› Newest»Wow! What an awesome giveaway! I turn 25 at the end of this month and to celebrate we're off to the UK's most remote pub to camp for the weekend.
We'll be driving to the West Coast, leaving our cars and taking a small fishing boat over to the small village of Knoydart for two nights of bliss. No phone signal, no internet, just gorgeous views, freshly caught fish and a few beers to go with it!
Can't wait!
Oops! My email address is stoppingshopping@gmail.com
I'll be 27 in November and I'm already planning it - I want a big day - night out doing some of the things I've wanted to do for ages.
I plan to go wine-tasting at Vinopolis in London, followed by a musical (because I totally love them - hopefully Phantom of the Opera as it's my favourite and I haven't seen it on stage yet) a meal somewhere totally decadant and possibly cocktails afterwards.
Expensive, but it'll be amazing!
sparkleandglitter[at]rocketmail[dot]com
Oh my goodness, I thought the giveaway couldn't get more exciting, but it just did!! I'm totally drooling over the Shabby Apple dresses.
My next birthday should be much like my last - a nice little house party with all of my friends. Since my birthday is smack-dab in the middle of winter, it's really the only way to go!
[E-mail: tink.inthepink@gmail.com]
Well of course Yes and Yes readers are the types of people who have swooningly adorable Etsy shops! Great giveaway, Miss von B, and congrats on the blog birthday!
As for my next birthday: July 24 is going to be my 24th, and I plan to spend the day ... at a coffee shop, writing, as per usual. But I'll cut out early to let my sister buy me dinner and watch a dumb movie with her.
I'm not too into birthdays, apparently, and the fact that all of my friends are scattered across the country makes futile to attempt even a tiny get-together.
My next birthday is my 30th! Because it's in the middle of winter, I am flying to Spain to visit my sister. Lots of Cava and paella and Barcelona goodness to celebrate!
my email is greenearthgirl4@gmail.com
And Happy Birthday!
it's my big 21st this september, and I'm having a rubiks cube party, which involved everyone buying outfits consisting of as many different colours as possible, add alcohol and several different night time venues and the goal is that everyone comes away at the end of the night dressed as one colour. Random drunken clothes swapping and many brilliant photographic moments? yes please :) my flatmate is also baking a rubiks cube cake haha :D I am excited.
Its my first birthday that does not also coincide with my first day of classes, so I'd like to do some sort of trip. I'd like to meet up with my two closest friends from college whom I haven't seen for months and go on a trip somewhere fun: Chicago, New York, LA...wherever.
Email: kostmanm@gmail.com
Oh lawd, my next birthday is 6 months away, and I will be 33. So what will I do? I haven't given it much thought. Maybe I should do something wintery like go snowboarding for the first time in 10 years. Yea!
Also!

I am hoping to have a very simple birthday this month, probably dinner out with friends. I got my present from the boy last weekend in the form of a bed n breakfast weekend on the coast!
I've got a long time to wait for my next birthday (it's in February), but I'm hoping that next year we can either go someplace warm for a few days or I can at least spend some quality cuddling time with my husband. This year, I spent it by myself in the bathtub eating cake, which was pretty good, but I wasn't impressed with my significant other being at a metal show all night. :P
Should you have other suggestions, or in case of winnings, email me at: citywitch (at) gmail. ;3
I hope to visit my brother and his girlfriend/my best friend at Sanibel Island, Florida! They just moved down there and I can't wait to visit them!
Such adorable stuff!! For my birthday (which is one month and a day away) I am going to be living it up. :) It is my 21st birthday so my friends and I are going to dinner and then we are going to a karaoke bar. They decided they thought it would be wonderfully amusing to get me tipsy and then have me publically humilate myself by singing badly in front of a large crowd. I can't wait!
Also! I posted this in my blog - http://deliriousduckie.tumblr.com/post/663185408/contest-post
Oh and my email address is britk89@gmail.com
I'll be 18 in August! My 21st century "coming of age" birthday.
I will celebrate by having a huge house party bash with my family and friends then off to the nightclubs for my first night out on the town!
My email address is karinajweeks@gmail.com.
My parents are flying into town for my partner's graduation! I haven't seen them since October. Earlier in the day I will be hula-hooping it up outside in the park with friends, going to brunch, & then later, picking them up from the airport in a (rented) snazzy ride, taking them to dinner & then to their B&B for restful times before the parties commence the next few days ;]
Wow, what an amazing giveaway!
My next birthday isn't until October, so I don't have any specific plans yet. I was thinking I might go on a weekend away interstate, perhaps?
--xo.
Awesome giveaway. I loooooove Shabby Apple's dresses!
I live in Central Pennsylvania. For my next birthday, I'd like to make a trip to Centralia. It's virtually a ghost town, having been mostly abandoned due to the underground coal fire that's been burning there since 1962. My birthday is in January, and the cold weather makes the steam vents that rise up from the ground all the more impressive looking. There are no hotels nearby, but there are a few B&Bs in the next town over. I'm going to load up my collection of vintage cameras and hope to get some great photos.
I guess it's sort of a weird birthday celebration, but dude, I'm sort of all partied out at this stage in my life :)
erin.friction (at) gmail dot com
My birthday isn't until October - but if all goes according to plan I may be getting married! Doesn't get much better than that :)**`~♥~`**
My birthday is next April, and by that time I'll be the mother of a beautiful 6 month old baby human bean! My plans will most likely include diaper changes and multiple feedings! What more could a girl ask for?
P.S. Those necklaces and bracelets from 31 bits are stunning and would make a great birthday present in themselves.
I will be 31 on June 23rd - no set plans as of yet but I want to eat yummy food and just have an all around fun day.
mcculloughland@att.net
I'm turning 30 this September. I've lived in Japan for over a year and haven't done karaoke yet - so guess what I'll be doing with my girlfriends on my birthday? :) While my husband puts the kids to bed! Woohoo!!
Bonus: my family will be spending my son's 5th birthday this November in China, possibly at the Great Wall that day. :D

I'll be 27 in December and I will be living in NYC by then...So I think a night on the town would be awesome!!
Love the Shabby Apple dresses!!! SOOO Pretty!

NICE giveaway! Okay, my twin brother and I will be "50" in August. Can't believe it. I am a young 49 however. (Gosh, you guys are all so young!) I plan on taking a little trip down south and find a lovely beach to lounge around on for a couple of days. I am so excited. It will be a first for me!
galew417@comcast.net
my next birthday, i will be 20. my plans? ICE. SKATING. i have never been, and i desperately want to try it, even if i end up flat on my bottom. it just looks like so much fun and so dizzyingly romantic and playful. i simply must go!!! i would also really really really love a dress from shabby apple, i think thats so cool that they donate to Unitus, my international relations degree is largely focussed on economics and world debt.
it makes me so excited and my friends think i'm nuts because lately it has been "debt crisis this, debt crisis that, you must watch this youtube video about economics because its AWESOME" and i am starting to think that i am scaring them away...
however, they are such lovely, active people, that im sure i can muster a fair group together to go ice skating with me on my birthday. oh you've got me all excited now!!! i can't wait!
my email address is cloudkitten14[at]hotmail[dot]com
ps. does it matter that i live outside the US?
Oh my gosh you officially find the coolest stuff ever! My plans for my next birthday are to be relaxing on a beach somewhere tropical! (Even if only in my imagination hahaaa)
My email is rungirlrunn at gmail.com
this giveaway is awesome! for my birthday, i plan to have a potluck with some close friends, good wine, and yummy food. hopefully there would be a great concert in my city that night for post-meal fun...
I remember yes & yes's birthday last year! crazy!
hmm well my next birthday should include going out for some yummy indian buffet with my honey and going to a hockey game or snowboarding. and probably studying for a nursing test woooo
alyssa.mccutcheon at gmail (wicked original eh?)
Ah my gawd, what an amazing giveaway. I've never seen so much for a birthday!
My birthday is tomorrow actually XD June 5th, wooo.
Tonight about 8 friends and I are going out to Red Lobster, my absolute favourite restaurant ever. Most people say its overrated and overpriced, BUT I DONT CARE. I love seafood and this is the only place my seafood-tooth is satisfied.
Then, my mother, being the fantastic woman she is, bought me some icecream cake to dive into after at home with whoever cares to follow me back into town and enjoy it.
Who knows, a couple drinks later we may go to a bar and dance the night away.
Then tomorrrrroowww, my friend Dani kindly is having a BBQ/Jello shots/drinking games/tequila watermelon (hehe, thanks to your suggestion) party at her home before we all walk across the street to the local bar and have a grand night of drinking and dancing.
Don't you love the perks of living in a small town?
Turning 19 is going to be fun I reckon.
I love your blog. I can't get enough of your true life stories.

For my next birthday, I wish I could go to Disneyland, my fave place in the world. I've always wanted to go when they have it decorated for fall!
Well next year I tun 16. So I am going to a cute tea shop called the Princely Pear. Then after me and my friends will go antiquing. Then me and my BFF will have a sleepover.

Oh, boy. I'm hitting that nice little quarter-century this year, and starting to feel it...
I hope this birthday will be super swell. I plan on celebrating it with my man, whose birthday is just a few days before mine, surrounded by family and good friends. And good beer. Can't forget that.

I turn 30 on my next birthday, so I want something big! My friend and I were discussing a takign a cruise or a trip to Mardi Gras with all of our other turning 30 friends.
My next birthday is in August, and I'd love to have a giant lakeside picnic party with all my friends. That, or go to New Orleans for the weekend. But I always want to go to New Orleans! :)
love these giveaways!
my 20th birthday is actually today =) to honor my lost teen years and the beginning of a new life decade, ill be heading to the beach as soon as my roommate wakes up. no need for crazy festivities to celebrate a day that comes but once a year, id rather just spend a relaxing day with the people i care about.
next year though, for the big 21, ill be celebrating the then-soon-approaching beginning of my senior year of college in some lost corner of the world, surrounded by tons of cute accents. any suggestions?
my email is colleenemayer@gmail.com
its all kinds of warm here in new jersey, hope the sunshine is finding you all as well!
I forgot my email... marie at azalumni dot com
I've actually been thinking really hard about my birthday, and I'm pretty sure I'm jumping on a cheap flight to Mexico a few days before and staying for a month or so. (My b-day is ... kinda close to day of the dead so, yah, no-brainer). Awesome giveaway, I love every single thing!
novarella@gmail.com
All these things are so delightful!
My birthday plans for next year are pretty vague, I usually forget about planning anything but then my wonderful mom makes a delectable dinner and the fam comes over and there is much laughter and singing and food and ice cream. I also use my birthday power to pick what movie to watch or where to go or do anything that strikes my fancy.
glynis(dot)cassley(at)gmail(dot)com
I'm hoping that my 29th (YIKES) birthday will involve me fitting nicely into this fantastic black dress I bought for $10 at H&M for my 22nd birthday. And lots of people buying me yummy food and drinks. I'm not picky, just so long as I have good friends around, and someone can watch my son the next morning so that I can nurse my hangover.
First off I spent time with the women in Gulu and they are amazing women and it's an amazing area (I was hoping we could talk about our favorite summer memory so I could talk about that, how perfect?!).
I just had my birthday at the end of may (21st none-the-less) so next birthday I guess I would love to travel somewhere and of course spend time with my closest friends. I have actually have been contemplating building a bucket list to complete by my next birthday (wonder where I got that idea....)
I love Shabby Apple and would love to win this to get a new dress for the summer (I'm on a shopping ban right now :-/)

I love the idea behind the Forgotten Negatives project.
My plans for my upcoming birthday is an ugly sweater themed party. My birthday is at the end of September so hopefully it can encompass Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas sweaters. !!!
No idea at this point - I have to get through the company party from hell that I'm planning and my wedding first. But hopefully it will involve drinkies, dancing and maybe one of those adorable dresses from Shabby Apple!
Lots of birthday love, Yes and Yes!!!
Sarah (smisen [at] gmail.com)
I hit the big 2-9 at the end of the month, and have no idea what I'm going to do... yet. BUT - inspired in part by this blog, I am starting to plan a 2-week trip to either Spain or Thailand for next year's 30th! Sarah Von - you rock!
On my next birthday I hope to tackle one of my "35 Things I Will Do Before I Turn 35"...something fun like go to a roller derby or burlesque show. Thanks for the inspriation, Sarah! My list is really coming along. Happy Birthday to Yes & Yes!!
Wow! This is an amazing giveaway! Congrats on the blog birthday!
Unfortunately, my birthday has never been the most exciting day for me (i like fourth of july better) mostly because it falls a week after Christmas, the day after New Year's, and I'm a twin. But for my (our) next birthday, my sister and I were planning on traveling to Montreal. We'll visit little bookstores, practice our french, dress in cute scarves and hats, and eat dinner in an awesome restaurant.
whiletheydance@yahoo.com
My plans for my 31st (!) are to attend a conference in SF. Fun right? But lots of my friends are there or are going to the conference, and last time for my 30s the organizers invited us (my friends, my husband and I) a nice dinner. So, yeah I like that conference and it is always right on my birthday.

GASP. I know yesterday I was excited about the karma cards...but those dresses are AMAZING. Wow.
gn853909(at)dal(dot)ca
haha I always forget to read the instructions! Too excited!
My next birthday will be in January so I can't say I have any set plans yet, BUT I would love to go to a place called Zero8 for dinner with my pals. It's a restaurant in Montreal that doesn't use the 8 most common allergens in their recipes, gluten being one of them. I hope to go before January, but that would be a GREAT birthday. :)
(email is in other post)
I having my big 25th, and believe that a quarter century needs to be celebrated. I will be booking an 80's party bus and having a rocking 80's party through the streets of Boston!

Everything people have donated is so beautiful - its amazing how many talented, generous people you know! For my next birthday (I will be 22) I am planning a long walk on the beach with my dog (Mojo) and Mr Big. I just love winter beach walks when you have the whole beach to yourself. These beach walks normally involve me taking off my shoes and socks and running into the sea only to run straight back out again! This will be followed by fabulous food and drink with fabulous friends whilst wearing a beautiful dress and generally feeling a million bucks - what more could a girl want on her birthday?

Hmmm...I'm turning 19 and for my next birthday (in January) I'm going to shop and go dancing and watch movies and celebrate all week (by doing various inside activities cause it will be cold!)
Man - even better than yesterday's giveaway! I'm hoping to spend my next birthday visiting my best friends in New York or Boston.
My birthday's not until December, but I plan on being either in Whistler or somewhere in Scandinavia snowboarding.
Total me time, since none of my friends/family are into it, but as long as there's snow, and I've a good board and (hopefully) some sunshine, I'll be happy.
eiranea [at] gmail [dot] com
I'm not sure what I'll do for my next birthday. I'll be 29, so maybe I'll just save some money so I can do a big blow-out for the Big 3-0. :)
palmer.mary1@gmail.com
Hmm. . . next birthday I'm thinking Vegas! A whole weekend filled with bed jumping, staying up late, red lipstick, dessert for breakfast, and cheesy Elvis impersonators. Who's in?
katie(dot)donbavand(at)gmail(dot)com. Hope I win!
ahhh I will be 23 at the beginning of next year. My plans so far involve a six week trip all around Australia! Despite the fact I have never been camping! Exciting!
A great giveaway!
zucch3ro[at]yahoo[dot]com[dot]au
awesome!
Hmm. Next birthday? Moving, hopefully! But see, that's a beautiful thing. Cause it's drinking champagne and painting the house and sorting through all my crap and paring down to what really matters, with people that matter. I can't wait to have my own place.
Thanks!

My next birthday isn't until April, so there isn't any real plan...but...this year my boyfriend and I went camping in Joshua Tree National Park. It's so beautiful in the springtime! I had so much fun, I think I'd like to make it a tradition.

My next birthday will probably be pretty low key, b/c I'll be busy around the time. I'll probably just go out to my favorite restaurant with my family!
sparkle_and_fade@yahoo.com
My birthday falls in crappy-ass January when it's too damn cold to do anything.
So next year, I think I'm going to do a throwback to my childhood and celebrate on my "half birthday" in July, instead.
I'm totally going to recreate as much as I can of my 7th? 8th? birthday as I can remember. So far that includes a cake shaped like a doll, ice cream, watermelon, bathing suits & slip & slides in the backyard and goodie bags for all my friends!
this giveaway rocks!
For my next bday- July 3 we are having a hog roast & kickball tournament. yup, thats what people turning 28 do right?
Well, i had lovely camping plans, as my birthday was just a few days ago, but I had to move instead. So, for my NEXT birthday (which is almost always Memorial Day weekend), I plan to gather all my friends, find some good camping on a lake or the beach, and play games, make homemade ice cream in an ice cream ball, and pick bluegrass tunes all weekend.
(All while wearing a dress.)

My next birthday isn't for a while ... hmm. I'll turn 24 next February (Valentine's Day, actually). Hopefully I'll have enough single friends, or enough friends willing to ignore the holiday, to hang out with me on the actual day, LOL.
My email: hellocalamity@livejournal.com
Lovely lovely stuff.
Hmm, I think it's going to be hard to top last year's Stepford Wives' tea party... haha.
For this year I'd like to gather all of my best friends (every year there's one that's unable to come, pout) and go somewhere for the weekend. I think Paris would be wonderful or maybe London :)
I'll be 22 in November and I love birthdays not just my own but everyones! For my next birthday I want to celebrate with mimosas and chocolate chip waffles in the morning :) And i live near orlando sooo maybe hogwarts at universal studios for the rest of the day!! I'm a big harry potter nerd.
Happy Birthday Yes and Yes! Thank you for the wonderful giveaway!

What great stuff! You've got a lot of friends in the blogosphere!
For my next birthday I will be turning 26. It will be my first birthday as a married woman, because my wedding takes place one month before that. I would love nothing more than to spend it with my new husband: pop open a bottle of sparkling white grape juice, eat cheese fondue picnic-style on the living room floor, and have him give me a neck massage afterwards. I like sweet, simple things.
hmmm my next birthday plans i am not to sure of yet because it will be 1 week away from christmas while I am in germany! so maybe going to a pub and enjoying some good beer with friends :)
kshuttle@uoguelph.ca
I'll be 26 soon, and hopefully celebrating in Chicago with my boyfriend. My idea is to take a little flask with us on one of the Chicago River architecture tours... :)
Thanks so much for the awesome giveaway!

What an awesome giveaway! I turn 26 next month and am hoping to top last year's one, where I got engaged on a surprise weekend away! Yeah, no, it's not going to happen. Instead, I'm hoping for lots of snuggles from the boy and the cat and maybe a home cooked meal!
For my 28th birthday next April, I think I'd like to steal away to a winery or two in Napa and then sing karaoke :)
I tweeted, too: http://twitter.com/justatitch/status/15421028500
what beautiful birthday presents! if all goes according to plan, i'll be graduating from grad school within a couple days of my next birthday, so i'll have tons to celebrate. one of my best friends is moving to san diego within the next year, so maybe a cross-country trip to california? if i can't afford that, i'll do something i've been wanting to do for a long time - either skydiving or getting my next tattoo.
Haha. I never make plans for my birthday. I figure if anything happens, then that's just an added bonus. Why? Because it's the day after New Year's and everyone is sick of partying AND it's more than likely to be 40 below around these parts. Drinking hot chocolate in my slippers always seems like a good way to celebrate.
What amazing swag!!
My next birthday will spent in combination with a friend's in Deep Creek, Maryland. Tons of friends, swimming, boozing, sunning, laughing - what more could you ask for?
I want the shabby apple dress like WOAH!
For my next birthday I hope to hang out on the beach for the day, eat a great dinner and cuddle w/The Fiance. Uneventful but relaxing. :)

My birthday is in 2 weeks! I'll be 28 and I'm going camping on the beach with great friends and my boyfriend. It'll be a nice change from the city!
My next birthday will be in November, and my goal is to be living and working in NYC before then. :)
How will I spend my birthday? Hopefully somewhere cozy with good friends.

My birthdays are always spent with family. I live far enough way that it is a special treat to go and visit them during the summer. Dinner out and simply enjoying their company.
kerstenmarie at gmail.com
It's actually my birthday today!! I spent the better part of the morning quilting (I realize I'm turning 28, not 88). Later, I'm going for lunch on a patio in the sun with friends who drove hours to come visit, then dinner with some other lovely friends from here in town. I guess I'm a lucky girl. Thanks for this beautiful blog! michelle.dickinson@gmail.com :)
I just had my 24th birthday last month, so I haven't considered what I'll do for the big quarter-century-turning birthday yet. My perfect day would be going kayaking, or maybe horseback riding, with my husband. And maybe having a picnic with our two dogs, because our dogs are our children and because picnics are lovely things to have.

My birthday has traditionally been a time when all my friends say they'll come to whatever I have planned and then they will call about fifteen minutes before party time to cancel. I try every year to do something fun on my birthday but my flaky friends always bail(don't get me wrong, I love them but sometimes they suck)! So this year I'm giving up doing something fun and I'm going to just pamper myself with something. It's only in 24 days so I better get planning!
herringtonka(at)gmail(dot)com
My birthday is in the middle of fall right when the days get really short and nights are freezing. I'll probably do something warm and cozy inside - maybe some rock climbing!
I will, one hundred percent, be at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter for my next birthday. Oh my! It opens June 18 (so soon!) and I cannot wait to check it out!
guthrie(dot)caitlin(at)gmail(dot)com
oh wow, i am so in love with those shabby apple dresses. swoon.
i am turning 26 and am planning on rewarding myself by getting my first tattoo, which is of my own design. my boyfriend of 4 years has also been hinting their may be a sparkler involved as well, so it should be a memorable one!

Ooh I adore the dresses from Shabby Apple!
I think for my next birthday, I want to have an Alice in Wonderland inspired tea party. I wonder if at 16, my friends consider themselves too old for a magician...because hiring one and asking him to dress like the mad hatter would be the icing on the cake.
My email is euphemia1995(at)gmail(dot)com
My 26th birthday is this Sunday! I am going on my first (but not last!) wine tasting adventure and finishing the day off with an amazing Italian dinner with close friends and family. Very different from last year, I ended my quarter-century celebration with a three day bang of an event - every person was hungover or ill for a week from partying. This birthday is going to be relaxing and beautiful and serene. At least that's the plan!
Also, I am absolutely loving the Shabby Apple dresses.
email: sumeena(at)gmail(dot)com
Wow this "part 2" is also amazing !
My next birthday is in more than 3 months, which is long and short at the same time.
I plan to spend the day with my husband and daughters, cooking a delicious meal all together and if the weather allows it, ending the day at the beach somewhere :)
I will tun 20 in just under a year from now. I will be to home to celebrate with my family, but then next week I will hop on a plane for Italy. It has always been my dream to travel abroad, and I have to opportunity to study in Italy for 6 weeks. After my program is finished my family is going to fly over to meet me to travel to Greece, Egypt, and Morocco. Anytime I think about next summer I get butterflies in my stomach. My next birthday is going to be the best one of my life!
Thank you for the wonderful giveaways!
rachaelshafer@gmail.com
Well, I'm not sure, but I do know I'm taking off work, this year was suck-tastic because I was stuck in this cave all day-- not doing that again!
Ooh! What awesome prizes! My 25th birthday's coming up at the very beginning of July, and I'm still not sure what I'll do. Maybe a picnic with some friends or something silly like bowling! Whatever it is, good people, good food and good drinks will be involved.
Hello, gorgeous prizes!
Every year right around my birthday (only a few days off either way), an awesome band happens to come to town, so the sweetie and I go to that. We've seen Great Big Sea, Imogen Heap, Kate Nash, and George Clinton, so keep your fingers crossed that someone fabulous shows up again this October!
Great giveaway! I will be 31 on my next birthday, like you -- and I think I would like to spend it in Egypt (got almost a year to plan). It has been a lifelong dream to see the pyramids.
River Trip!!!!!! Hopefully in the Northwest, but the details are not nailed down yet.
My eyes got bigger a bigger as I scrolled through the giveaway description. Yipe! So grood (Teen Girl Squad, anyone?).
I haven't decided on the specifics of my next birthday yet, but I do plan on a feeling of satisfaction after having completed my 26 things before I turn 26 list, something that was inspired from reading this blog (and also fueled by discovering NTKOG). I imagine there will also probably be a drum circle/jam session involved and a potluck/picnic with friends and family. And then some time in solitude to pray and reflect over the year.
I will be 28. And I have three daughters. So what I would like to do is get away. Just spend the night with my hubby by ourselves. This may be wishful thinking but lets hope!
sweetbutterbliss@gmail.com
How great are you, Sarah! I've been following this blog for about a year, and I feel like we're the same person - maybe I haven't caught up to your great adventures in travel, but I am envious :)
My 26th birthday will be at the end of September, and I will very likely be in Colorado in a wedding that I don't really want to attend, but the plus side is that my best friend from college (who I haven't seen in 5 years) lives nearby! I have visions of escaping after the ceremony, a ripped bridesmaid gown from running about town in the wee hours, dirty feet from a long-abandoned pair of pumps, bottles of wine consumed on the floor of his apartment, and lots and lots of laughter. The next day I want to find a horse to ride and trek all over the mountains. MMMM, it will be good.
I'd like to take my birthday outdoors this year. It's in September so it's feasible. Maybe an overnight backpacking trip with Husband? These days only he matters when it comes to special moments.
So fun! I turn 30 in August and my husband is planning a big party. I am not allowed to know anything about it except that it will be AWESOME. That's all he'll say.
I'm really excited because birthdays are super important to me but not so much to him, and it's been a bit of a sore spot in the past. I am thrilled that he is making a big deal out of this one. I can't wait.

Birthdays usually involve waking up late and planning an elaborate birthday feast of things I've been wanting to cook or bake recently...tasty!
My next birthday is actually coming up in just about two weeks! I'm turning 21, so my friends and I have planned to go to a baseball game in my hometown, tailgate & all that good stuff. It's funny because the baseball team of the city where I go to school (the next state over) is playing my hometown team that night, so it should be a good game regardless! I love birthdays :)
Such amazing items! I love love LOVE the 31 Bits necklace... and such an awesome company! My next birthday isn't until March and I'll be 35. All I want is to be surrounded by my family & an ice cream cake! ♥
Counting it all joy, Angela

My next birthday I plan to go for a weekend trip, possibly San Diego or Santa Barbara with the husband and maybe some close friends. Walk around and take it slow :)
handy.heather@gmail.com :)
I just had my birthday month ago, so I have plenty of time to plan for a extravagant theme party... Tim Burton... Marie Antoinette... Warhol's Factory? One thing I would really like to do is to organise a fancy brunch.
so cute! my next birthday I'll be 25...and hopefully I'll be spending it in India helping a friend of a friend celebrate her wedding! It's still in the works but I sure hope it works out Christmas on the 25th, wedding on the 26th, birthday on the 27th - pretty perfect right??? vaiviablog@gmail.com
LOVE the 31 Bits necklace!
I'm planning on taking my girls to the day spa and just enjoying the sun and pools for my next bday =)
emilee{dot}sutherland@gmail.com
aw, awesome!
I'd love to take a long weekend trip with my husband, maybe to Maine in the fall.
I'll be 20 for my next birthday and I plan to spend a fun day thrifting with my friends. I may also get a massage!

Wow, this is super awesome!! Such an awesome giveaway!
So, my 25th bday is in 6months and I'm already thinking hard to find the PERFECT way to celebrate. It'd be great to see a post about your ideas for excelent parties/celebrations,Sarah!
Oh, and I've retweeted about this here : https://twitter.com/MoniLozano
My next birthday is exactly a month away and I still have yet to decide what to do, but I'm thinking since it will be on a Sunday that I'd like to spend it at the Beaches here with some friends.
January still seems so far away! Ideally I'd like to do a big dinner at my apartment with lots of friends, and then go on a snowy adventure (too bad it never snows in Seattle!)
For my next birthday I'm going to have a fondue party! I plan to force everyone to wear berets, eat melted gruyere, and do their best Swiss-French accents. I hope your birthday is great!
Please pick me! For my August 21st birthday, I'll be celebrating with my best friend (as we've done for the past 11 years... since 7th grade) who also shares the same birthday as me (we were born on the same day, same year, same hospital, 2 hours apart) in our new apartment with all of our friends with some rowdy games of beirut, flip-cup and a carvel ice cream cake.
rachelking86@gmail.com
I hope to celebrate my next birthday quietly with my BF (fiancee? we'll see), a great bottle of wine, and a fabulous steak. Nothing more, nothing less. ;)
I'm going to Door County with two close friends. My best friend and I are both photographers, and we're going to dress up like we're nautical people who actually might own a yacht and take pictures of each other all together and in pairs and individually -- it's exceptionally fun practice for us, and leaves us all with fabulous pictures of ourselves. And then we'll switch to swimsuits and dive in for a while before eating Mexican, because we all love it!
schrkj15@uwgb.edu
My next birthday is going to be my 21st, and instead of spending it binge drinking in some seedy club I want to go to a fancy restaurant with my family and enjoy good food with a glass of champagne.
Retweeted! http://twitter.com/nmhaley
I'm not sure if it will actually happen, but my dream birthday would involve taking a short trip to somewhere that I haven't been. The first place that comes to mind is Hawaii.
Thank you for sharing the yes and yes birthday love. These giveaway items are wonderful and you have some really talented readers!
My birthday is coming soon. I'm turning 25 in 15 days! Exciting! Anyways, I think this year, I'm going to celebrate by relaxing by the pool, enjoying air conditioning and popcorn (and maybe a slushee) in a matinee of Toy Story 2, and then going to this cheesy beach-themed restaurant by my house to drink pina coladas out of coconut shells. BLISS.

My birthday is December 26th. I usually visit my family in Malaysia over Christmas but I got married this year and will be spending it with my husband's family in North Carolina. I don't usually plan anything for my birthday - I just enjoy hanging out with family that at best I get to see once a year.
annaheartfood @ gmail . com
My next birthday is the big 3-0 so I'm planning a big party with as many friends as possible (my birthday is in January so hopefully some of my interstate and overseas guests will be in town for the Christmas holidays). I am collecting all my party ideas on Pinterest and google reader. I can't wait to see everyone!

Wow, what a wonderful giveaway! I love 31 bits. :-) My email address is theodorahermes@gmail.com. The holiday already passed (assuming you are referring to Memorial Day!) but it was simple day of just a picnic for me. Some very close friends and I made a huge meal out on the grill and talked late into the evening. It was very nice.
Thank you so much!
For my next birthday I plan to go to Cochella music festival in LA. I went to Bonnaroo last summer, and am not able to make it this year because of work deadlines, but I fell in love with the peace, love, and happiness that surrounds music festivals. I figure it's the perfect way to ring in 26!
Thanks for sharing the birthday love! I LOVE your things to do before your birthday list!
My email is janice.rodden@gmail.com
Well, it's the big 3-0 this year. I do believe the most wonderful boyfriend on the planet has a little plan up his sleeve. It may involve Hawaii, an engagement ring or a combination of the two. Or maybe just a high-five and a card. :)
colleen.r.smith@gmail.com
pick me. I have photos of garage sale dress up adventures.
My plans for my next birthday are to have a low key evening at home with my closest friends!

Next birthday?! It's a whole year away! But I have a tradition of traveling on my birthday and next year I think it's going to be hiking Cinque Terre. Woot! I just turned 25 and already I'm dreaming of 26! Happy Birthday, Yes and Yes!
lauren.caselli::at:: gmail::dot::com
Ooooh! Lovely prizes today Miss Sarah!
By my next birthday I will have moved across the country. My very best friend and I are both moving into the same city at the same time (random), and she is planning on throwing me a bridal shower that week, and my friend and mom are probably going to come out to visit. Should make a very exciting birthday weekend!
This is the best giveaway I've seen in a while. I want everything!
I just had a birthday on May 31st. We had plans to BBQ outside but it rained so we moved it inside.
I'll be turning 30 on my next birthday so I will probably spend it hidden under my bed!
These birthday giveaways are awesome! I can only hope!
My next birthday I'll be 25, I haven't ever had a "proper" birthday, just friends getting together & drinking usually. I have been wanting to plan a themed "Alice in Wonderland" party. I hope I can finally use my croquet set!
I'll be back at school in Manhattan by my next birthday, so I will most likely hunt down the Wafels and Dinge Truck (my favorite) and then go do some tipsy Karaoke on St. Marks Place (also my favorite.)
Wow! So many to choose from, they are all awesome. I would love the Costa Brava necklace. My plans for my birthday consist of (hopefully) camping with friends.

came here from a link from rhomany, never followed a blog before but this stuff all looks fascinating. I'm trying to get inspired to walk away from my computer and be creative again, and the inspiration here in excellent.

Hola, what an amazing giveaway! Also HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
For my next birthday, i will be 26 and the most amazing and exciting thing about my plan for it is that im not actually sure where i will be or who ill be celebrating with! Ill be taking off on some world travelling adventures at the start of 2011 and so will be two months into the unknown when my birthday falls. Although ive a general idea i think (ill probably be somewhere in south america), ive decided to not make very specific plans. Im going at this adventure alone also so im not sure who will be singing happy birthday to me on the day but hopefully it will be some awesome new friends. Way excited! :D

Well... My birthday is steadily approaching and I have yet to make big plans--which is a first. I am thinking, however, that I might just need to scrounge up the money and send myself to Austria to take the Sound of Music Tour. (You know, the one where you actually go and visit all the sites from the movie!) What better way to celebrate my birthday (during my year au pairing abroad in Holland) than to run through a field on a mountain top joyously singing my heart out?!?! Oh, I think I just may do it!

oh i love the negative photo!!

i hope next year that my best friend and boyfriend can attend at the same time :)

I plan on going vintage shopping in Paris! (I'm from the US) I might be hitting up London as well :D
It's so awesome that people are giving away so many fun things!
My birthday was just recently, so thinking about the next birthday seems crazy. I hope that next year for my birthday I'm celebrating it on a beach somewhere.
winningam@gmail.com
I'll be 25 next March, and I'l hopefully be celebrating my quarter-century having a spectacular adventure in my hometown of Cleveland. My birthday falls over spring break, and rather than trying to plan a fabulous party on a grad student's budget (in NYC) I want to take a nostalgic trip through all the places--from the rocky Lake Erie beach I spend my childhood on to the rooftop of my favorite building to climb on the campus of my undergrad college--where I grew up.
This giveaway is mind-bogglingly splendid and I love that you have a creative prompt for the entries!
I'm turning 31 on July 5th and my boyfriend and I will have great seats at Target Field for the Twins game!

I'll be turning 25 this year but don't have any real plans. Maybe a lake house with good friends.

My next birthday is my 21st! Next semester I'll be moving to New York to join my best friend, who has the same birthday as me. Once our birthdays hit, we're going to celebrate our first double birthday party since our Sweet Sixteen. Probably a day at the spa, an afternoon of video games and a night on the town. I can't wait!

Yay!

My birthday is May 13th and I was born on Friday the 13th. Awesome, right?! Since then I've only had 2 birthdays that fell on a Friday: When I was 6 and was too young to know how awesome it was, when I was 17 and my family was too broke for any kind of celebration. I had been looking forward to my next Friday the 13th birthday for YEARS and was super bummed when we had to skip it. Next year, though, it's happening again. Yay!! Since Friday the 13th is considered unlucky, spooky, and superstitious... I'm gonna have a Halloween-style costume party. =D so exciteddddd!!!!!
Aaaaugh Shabby Apple is amaaaazing! For my next birthday, hopefully I will be able to head to Japan to see my brother. We only get to hang like, once a year! If that!
My e-mail is saturdayjane@gmail.com
My birthday is coming up in July. Right now, I'm planning to either go to a concert (Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros -- they are amazing!) or to leave town for the weekend with my boyfriend. All in all, just something lowkey and fun!
omydarlingblog(at)gmail(dot)com
Wow what an amazing giveaway! My next birthday is in February so I think I might like to go ziplining with my friends on top of Grouse Mountain in the snow.
I love the Daliaville print. So super cute. I love that blog (in addition to yours). Yes please! Thanks lady!
Wow! what an amazing giveaway! My next birthday is only 12 days away and I will be spending it in a 5 star spa hotel in Marrakech (Morocco) as a treat from my hubby. I will be wandering around the souks looking for bargains and crafts, hiking in the high Atlas mountains, eating lots and drinking plenty and no doubt, I will be in and out of the pool to cool off as it is currently 39.c there! CAN"T WAIT!!!
Fabulous lot of loot. I plan on celebrating my big 25th birthday by playing a set at the BB Kings Blues Club in Memphis. Its going to be amazing.

Wow! What a wonderful giveaway!
I am turning 20 this coming December...but since it is the day after Christmas, it's mighty inconvenient to do something special. It's also my cousin's birthday and my uncle's anniversary, so I'm going to have a huge shindig with the entire family.

hmm. hadn't thought much about my next birthday... I'll be ringing in a new decade, which is vaguely exciting. if I could do ANYTHING...I'd love to have coffee at my favorite cafe and spend the night dancing to music in Millenium Park.

Hmm...my next birthday is a milestone, so perhaps the roadtrip to the Grand Canyon my cousin-friends and I have been discussing for ages should finally come to pass.

My birthday and my anniversary with SB fall within a week of each other (I know, he was the best present I ever received!) so I'd like to spend my birthday in a beachfront restaurant and followed by a stroll along the beach in the indian summers that New Zealand always seems to have in March.
For my next birthday (August 26!) I;m probably going to do the same thing I did last year! My friends and me took the train and had a lovely picnic by the river! I loved it so much I'm so doing it again this year! Most fun I've had in quite some time! <3

I actually just had my birthday pass! BUT for my next birthday, hmm... Well, I turn 21 - so I'd actually like to do what Rory Gilmore wanted to do: do a bunch of random things 21 times. =]
And drink... But drink with friends. =] Haha.
Happy Birthday yes and yes!
My 24th bday is on monday!!!
My mom's and my sister's birthdays are also next week , so we'll definitely have a cake together with ALL the family. Aunts, cousins, everybody.
Also, a friend and i have the same birthday and all our friends are coming for the summer, so there's only one thing left to do- get together and party!!
And definitely go to the beach. :D

I'll be honest, my next birthday will be less a celebration of me and more a celebration of my best friend. My birthday falls on my best friend's graduation from Ranger Training! HOOAH! So I'll (hopefully) be flying out to Fort Benning be with the friend who has always been there for me.

My next birthday is my 21st birthday, and it's on Wednesday (June 9)! Although the 21st isn't a huge birthday here in Canada, I'm still going to celebrate it by partying with my friends, and since I share a birthday with my Opa, hanging out with my awesome family perhaps going swimming and eating dinner at our favourite quarry! :)

For my next birthday, instead of getting a bunch of gifts and going out, I want to host something at home.
Everyone will make a mix CD of their favourite songs, and bring it to me so I can create a giant playlist of awesome. Then for the 'party', it will be a pot luck and everyone will bring deliciousness.
Que, the perfect birthday party consisting of lovely friends, loved music, and love-licious food throughout the night!

first of all, cassie with drummbellina is amazing. i ordered a bag from her a while back and it arrived super quick (despite the iceland ash cloud) and she was a real treat to work with. i fully intend to shop there again.
my birthday is 3 days after my daughters (she turns 3 this year) so i think we'll both be eating cake and wearing party hats & fairy wings!

My 29th birthday is this July! Last of my twenties. =/ It's a little bit scary. I plan on celebrating by driving to see my Mom in Texas. I'll have a birthday cake made by her. There's nothing better in the world than her cakes. I feel all warm and fuzzy just thinking about it!!

Hi Sarah,
I'm turning 25 in November and although nothing is planned I keep having day dreams about running away to Samoa and spending a night getting drunk and rambling to the new Fa'afafine friends I will make. But most likely it will be a house party, drinking my home brewed beer- which could be equally as fun.
I also wanted to say I love your blog! I've been unemployed for about a year now and you've been a huge inspiration for me- just to get out of bed in the morning and keep trying! So yeah, I just think you're great.
Nicole.
