Since I'm saving every last penny for my big trip in October, I won't be doing much travel this summer. If you, too, are homebound this summer, we can take a bit of comfort in this great video. Around the world in 80 seconds? Yes, please!

*mind boggles* that was a bit of visual overload! Cool =)
Cairo!!!!
Love it =D
A friend of mine is spending the summer in Cairo, working for an embassy. She's been after the jobb with fury for years. I was so happy for her when she got it. She's fluent in French and almost in Arabic (learnt it from scratch). Of course, if oyu ask her she'll be quite modoest and say ohhhh noooo, my arabic sucks. Well dear, I bed to differ...
Anyway, saw on your list that you plan on travel to India. Where to in India? When I went to India I hade an odd kind of perceptionary overload. It had never happened again. All I saw was poverty cows dust cows dust dusty cars another cow *sounds everywhere* poverty. Beauty didn't really come to me until we travelled to Punjab. It was the oddest experience I've had.
Cambodia is VERY cool. I went there the first year when it had opened and was reasonably safe for tourists.
Awesomeness! I'm not going anywhere for a while, since I did two international trips in the space of six months and am now, for some inexplicable reason, kinda broke! I could do this, though. :)
