This Is What Answered Prayers Look Like

Why, who's that dapper gentleman consulting the controls of his awesome kitteh jet? That's Rasputin, my debonair fur baby! Putin is hanging out in the kitty fighter jet that I lobbied so hard for as a birthday gift and The Ever Awesome Jill gave me.

But don't be fooled by Putin's apparent commitment to being the best pilot he can be. This photo was actually three days in the making, coupled with a handful of catnip, some treats and lots of "Staaaaayinthereyou!" Apparently, some cats would rather follow you around making chattering noises and lick the Venetian blinds that live out their Top Gun fantasies. You disappoint me, Putin.

Three days of trying was worth it for that photo. :D

I love it! Did she make it, or buy it? If she bought it... WHERE!?

I think she got it here: http://www.suck.uk.com/product.php?rangeID=96&showBar=1

Isn't it AWESOME?! Now if I could just get him to hang out in it all the time. I harbor this belief that he plays with it when I'm not around in an attempt to wind me up. Whenever I open the front door he's sitting next to it, glaring at me. ;D

Aww that is brilliant! My cats seem to be more interested in hiding in empty boxes and the washing basket than playing with any fancy toys they are given.

TELL ME you're making this into a LOLcat...

That is pretty much the cutest thing ever! Coincidentally we are headed to the Humane Society this afternoon to see about getting a cat. We'll see what happens!

That is so adorable. I love that pic! As soon as I get a pet, I'm definitely getting one of these.

That's really cook, so be it that it took you three days to get the photo, :). For being named Rasputin you'd think he'd hang out in it all day! Licking venetian blinds? That's not very rasputinish. That's probably a good thing though.
I'd like a cat but I'm allergic to them and I am not particularly fond of dogs. If I could have a cat I'd get one of those things!

I feel your pain. I once spent 4 hours one Christmas morning trying to get a snapshot of my cocker spaniel wearing his brand new reindeer antlers. It's still one of my favorite photos!
