Friends! Are you ever struck by questions like "How do I tell my parents I'm quitting my job to travel the world?" or "How can I work harem pants into every outfit?" or "How can I go vegetarian without alienating everybody?" Well, I miiiiight know the answers to those questions - if you'd care to ask.
If you are a'seeking advice on travel/design/life/cheese/cat outfits please do drop me a line at sarah_vonbargen(at) yahoo (dot) com. I'll do my best to write up a clever, lovely post answering your questions.
However, if you ask me "How can I make a delicious salad with mayonnaise and noodles?" or "How can I walk long distances in heels?" my answer will be "Dude, I dunno. You tell me!"

I actually do have a pressing question I wanted to ask the blogosphere about!
How does one break in a pair of 16-hole doc martins without tearing one's feet to pieces? If you know the answer to that one I'll be forever in your debt!
OK Ms. Von, I know the time has come and passed, but I figure you're the internet's leading expert on traveling for a pittance, looking totally chic while doing so, and above all else- wearing harem pants. So here is my question- how do you do all of that? I have the harem pants, I have the travel plans (Ecuador), and I have the desire to be chic and lightly packed while doing so. TIPS? I know you've got em! You're swell like that. The last time I traveled internationally, I wound up buying an extra suitcase and paying three overweight tarifs- I am not a gal that understands packing light. Please bestow your wealth of knowledge upon us poor and less fortunate.
