Dance = Joy

So we're all a little bit in love with the now famous JK Wedding Dance right? Seriously, you guys? That business made me weepy. But then, most spontaneous dances do. Or whenever a crowd spontaneously sings in unison. Or whenever I see a photo of cat cuddling a chick.

So pretty much all weepy, all the time here on the good ship Yes and Yes. But you know, happy weepy! "Oh isn't life grand!" weepy!

Annnnyway. Care to feast your eyes upon some more joyful, lovely spontaneous dancing?

Wedding robot equals The Best Kind of Robot

True, dancing to a song about zombies at your wedding isn't quite the same as dancing to a song called 'Forever,' but it sure would be fun!

How lovely is this? I really love the sweet, skipping little girl at the beginning.

Let's go ahead and ignore the fact that this is actually a promotion for T-Mobile, m'kay?

Would you ever take part in something like this? I would love to!

I don't think this is something I'd want to do at my OWN wedding, but I love videos of others doing it. I think it indicates something so fun and genuine about their relationship.

This video is MY personal favorite surprise wedding dance.

Vanessa, I KNOW! I feel like any couple that does these dances are total BFFs/partners in crime/a team united against the world. Ceeee-ute!

I would definitely love to do something like this! I'm loving the Thriller dance at that wedding, even the bride in her dress dancing away.

I am anti-Sound-of-Music and that flashmob made me teary. Just LOOK at the little old lady and how delighted she is!

Ah brill! Thanks for sharing - I've watched that tmobile clip more times than I care to count!

These make me teary too, but the good teary.

Ahh, I just LOVE your blog - it's like a little slice of sunshine. :)

I absolutely love flash mobs, especially when they involve dancing! Have you seen the record-breaking Thriller dances? I think the biggest one was in Austin, TX. There are a bunch of videos of them on YouTube!

Geez, I'm just glad I'm not the only one getting teary at these. The Belgium one had me bawling! I was worried I may be somewhat unstable.
I prefer to think of it as being sensitive to beautiful things, not being a big girl's blouse.
Thanks for posting these, it's made my day!

Thanks for your happy blog. :)

By the way, you've inspired to me try 26 new things before I'm 26. Thanks for helping get me out of my rut!

Have you seen the spoof a group did on the wedding dance? They did it into divorce court, and involved attorneys, police, and the lawyers too. It was funny:)

I went to a high school for performing arts, so we did this kind of thing often. Our favorite thing to do was to have someone start with a beat or a noise (ie "LALALA"), then someone else would come in with a different noise and beat (ie "Boom boom") until everyone joined in with their own beat and nose. It was really fun:)

I had never seen that wedding dance entrance before!
That is more or less the best thing in the world.
You can just tell how awesome those two are for each other.

My boyfriend says that he will walk down the aisle to The Power Of Love, which, at first, repulsed me, but now I might feel differently...

Gosh, I don't mind in the slightest that that one's a T-mobile ad. I end up crying every time I watch it. I hadn't seen the Belgian one before, but that was super cute too.

I'm not sure how I've just come across this post...

I took part in a similar event in which over 800 people in Austin dressed as zombies and danced to Thriller.

Hello world record, yes we will take you, and I can't wait to take it again this year! http://www.thrilltheworldaustin.com/
