I read your list at Oh,Mishka. I'm in Australia so its winter here. Not the time for skinny dipping or dirt road driving :) But I'll remember the list in about 6 months

Loved the list! most of them are things I did when I was in high school, except for the drive in cinema or whatever the heck it's called, we don't have one those in my city, also read your memories of summer @ 16 it was hilarious...

take care :)

All excellent ideas! Drive-in movies are the most fun ever, though I haven't been able to find any in my city :(

I am going to Hawaii with my family though so I am going to add to my list:
1. Learn to surf and
2. See a shark, while
2A. Avoiding shitting my bathing suit!

Personally, my summer is starting in September, which is when i go on holiday! Yippee!

August, for me, involves deadlines and househunting.

That is a great list! Not sure about #2 for myself, but I could definitely see the others. I think the one thing I will have to do before the summer is over is go bike riding on the Chicago Lakefront. Or else, I'll sulk the entire winter about not getting the chance to do it.
