Spooning in bed, smelling that delicious wet metal smell that means the radiators are pinging and clicking to life. And knowing that I don't have to be anywhere till 1 pm.
Eating croissants in Loring Park while fending off the oddly fearless squirrels. A three-foot radius must be maintained at all times, rodents. You're starting to freak me out.
Catching up with BFFs here and away. And laughing with the NZ bestie over her front page close up in the Capitol Times.
Meeting my friend's perfect wee puppy. And enjoying the pup's fashion show of fancy walking jacket and Halloween lobster costume.
Attending an outdoor Halloween party. In a tiny toga. But rocking it anyway (P.S. I totally initiated conversations with 'If you could have a super power would you rather fly or be invisible?') Also, I met a girl dressed at Dolly Parton there and we sang almost the entirety of '9-5' into her sparkly microphone for a rather bemused/drunk audience.
Meeting the creator of Nelle handbags at said party. You are so awesome! Let the friend-making begin!
A cold, blustery day perfect for compulsive cleaning (on bended knee, with an old tooth brush, having it out with the molding) movie watching and phone calls to Mom Von.

your weekend sounds like it was awesome! i just worked on the weekend, but my boyfriend and i went for a long walk on the beach near our flat yesterday afternoon, which was lovely :)
I do particularly love the wet-metal-heater scent. I got a few whiffs of that this weekend, too.
Well I just discovered your blog and absolutely love it, and am methodically going through all of the many interesting and relevant posts. I then clicked on the capital times link and was met with a picture of my friends little sister. For a second I was like WEIRD your NZ BFF is Anita! Then I realised it's probably this weeks cover. Oops.
